February events in Saigon include;

Jibe's Beach Cup - windsuring race at Mui Ne (03/02, all day);
Ba Thien Hau Pagoda Festival – Lai Thieu, by Saigon (04-06/02, all day);
Spam Cham - charity food night at Jaspa's Restaurant (29/02, 18:30 - 20:30);

February 03: Jibe's Beach Cup
When: all day
Where: 90 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ham Tien Ward, Mui Ne
Vietnam Fun Cup is a windsurf race in Mui Ne and organized by Jibe's for amateurs. Anyone can take part but the best bit is the party in the evening starting with a big barbecue and ending with people dancing. Some professional windsurfers are sometimes around getting ready for the PWA Grand Slam happening just a few weeks later. The event is held to raid money for charity.

February 04-06: Ba Thien Hau Pagoda Festival
When: all day
Where: Lai Thieu, by Saigon
The population of Thu Dau Mot prepares tables placed in front of each house to worship and welcome Ba Thien Hau. A great number of people from neighbouring provinces also come to Thu Dau Mot for the occasion. The Ba welcoming ceremony observes traditional rituals with a Ba palanquin carried throughout the streets, with unicorn dances, lion dances, and many flags. People come to the Ba Pagoda to burn incense, pray, and ask for the protection of the Mandarin to be safe and happy in the next year .

February 29: Spam Cham

Charity night for meat lovers win aid of the Loreto Foundation with Monster Meat Tray Raffle, plenty of great prizes and free flowing open bar and snacks all for only 200,000vnd per person.
