Saigon tonight – hospitality in Ho Chi Minh City
When travellers decide where to go for a holiday, they are not only concerned with the sights there are to see, but also how comfortable they will be during their stay. In this respect, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) has made fantastic progress since the early 1990s when the first adventurous budget travellers arrived.
Though it’s still a firm favourite with backpackers for its wide choice of cheap accommodation, Saigon is now popular with visitors of all kinds, and the five-star hotel chains, such as the Hyatt and the Sheraton, that have opened during the last decade, are also doing a roaring trade.
